How would he compare say, with Michael Choice?
Ervin is one of my favorite players in this draft. Will the tweener label drop him into the 20s? Not if he keeps hitting HRs. Its a quick interview, but I think it show a mature kid, who is working to improve his game. Also, I think its a good idea to keep an eye on that Lex Rutledge character out of Samford as well!
Shankbone, Ervin keeps growing on me, just a really nice package of tools coupled with production. With the lack of top college bats, it isn’t the worst year to be stuck with the tweener label either.
