Scouting Report: Clint Frazier
Clint Frazier HR
Position: OF/C
Hometown: Loganville, Ga
HT: 6’0
WT: 190lbs
Bats/ Throws: R/R
Body: Frazier is one of the best pure baseball bodies I have ever seen out of High School. He as a solid frame, huge forearms and a muscular lower half, he has the body to play baseball.
Swing: Frazier has a balanced stance and high hands. He takes a short stride and has a good quick weight shift. His swing is short and compact with plus bat speed. The lower half is just as explosive through his swing, which generates even more power. The ball looks like it is a shot from a cannon when it comes off his bat. He shows plus power and a plus hit tool.
Base running: Frazier’s above average to plus tools continue with his speed and base running skills. He ran a 6.42 in the 60 yard dash. He shows great instincts on the bases also.
Defense: His defenses skills are also top notch. He shows a great arm and superior range. He has that ability to play CF but can play anywhere in the outfield.
Summary: Frazier is easily one of the best players in the 2013 draft class. He has true 5 tool potential and is a truly elite talent. He doesn’t look like he will be slowing down hitting 3 HRs in his most recent game.
