Really, really like McGuire. Reports of his driving the ball to the opposite field gap at one of the recent showcases are promising. Great swing.
I haven’t gotten to far into rankings yet, but I have no idea how the prep catchers are going to shake out. McGuire is another one with a legitimate shot at the first round.
I heard the Pirates are after this guy.
That wouldn’t be a shocker to me. It makes sense organizationally. Especially considering they have 2 picks to work with within the first 15 of the 1st round.
