Here are your 2013 draft related links for the day.

  • ESPNHS posted their All-Americans for 2012, including 2013′s Stephen Gonsalves and Shaun Anderson.  Since he attends my old high school, I have to mention sophomore righthander Kyle Marsh making the first team.  -LINK

Hey, anything you can share about Kyle Marsh would be incredibly helpful. Very interesting player for 2014. ESPNHS lists is interesting, but how they left off Keegan Thompson is beyond me. Big time performer, Team USA and Gatorade accolades, 119:5 K:BB as a junior. I know someone has to get bumped, but that’s absurd. I think BA got it right with 2nd team honors.

E-Dub, I don’t know much at all about Marsh right now. This year, my trips to Florida were entirely about my Mom while she was going through radiation and chemo (cancer free now, thank God), so I didn’t get to see him. I am planning on timing at least one of my trips there next spring to catch him on the mound.

I’m with you on Thompson, I really don’t know how he doesn’t make the cut. Everyone likes certain guys though and guys that they see. Whoever puts together their list might just not be that familiar with him.

  3. E-Dub says:

Really happy for your Mom. Gotta keep the important stuff straight.

I’m always interested in the guys who are off a list, or on just one or two; the consensus gets boring. And we’ve seen how much guys can move up or down. Weickel was a “consensus” top 3-5 HS pitcher at the beginning of the spring, and fell back to the pack for many. We’ll obviously know a lot more about these kids when the summer is done.

Marsh seems to have a little effort in his delivery, and he’s not the biggest guy, but he looks interesting.

    First, thank you.

I’m with you on the consensus being boring. My biggest priority with the site this year is to be less affected by the rankings of bigger sites. It may mean that I am wrong more often, but I can live with that.

  5. All people deserve very good life and home loans or short term loan can make it better. Just because freedom relies on money state.
